The lobbying detailed in this report coincides with a wider push for the Federal government to prioritize ease of doing business over proven public health policies. The Department of Justice has brought lawsuits against Virginia, Colorado, and California, seeking to overturn gun safety measures, and has announced an investigation into gun revocation practices in Philadelphia.
